Product Description

   The fruit of over three years of work, the EmberWorld guidebook  provides a vivid fantasy setting that is both realistic and entertaining.  Set in a world that is experiencing a cultural and artistic rebirth, EmberWorld is a swirling mass of politics, war, adventure, and intrigue from local to international levels. 

      EmberWorld is described by Anlin Rafterson, a noted historian from the Baldarian Empire and a member of the Historic and Esoteric Order of Truth, the famed HEOT.  Not a mere chronicler of events, Anlin freely offers his own, often pointed, opinions about the world in which he lives. 

      The EmberWorld Campaign Setting is divided into two sections, the first two-thirds of the book, is  written by Anlin where he describes the various nations and their customs of Ganworr, a part of EmberWorld resembling renaissance Europe, as well various other countries, and the history of the world. Anlin's descriptions are detailed without bogging the reader down, and provide numerous exciting and unique settings where all manner of adventures can take place.

     The Final  third of the book is dedicated to describing in detail the various races, professions, and other important details about EmberWorld.  Though statistics are given that go with the Core Rules of Fantasy Role Playing, the information in this second part of the EmberWorld guide can be easily adapted to other systems.

     The world and the rules sections were purposely kept separate in order to keep rules, which tend to be dry and impersonal, from interfering with the enjoyment of discovering a new world and to allow the voice and character of Anlin Rafterson to shine through and draw in the reader.  Our goal was to give the narrator and players complete access to a world unhindered by mechanics so that their creativity and personalization of the world can be uninhibited.
